i took my macbook to the apple store today because the hinges were broken. initially, i was told that it was not covered under applecare because it was cosmetic damage. he pulled up my info and he noticed that i brought it once before for liquid damage to my cd drive, which was no longer working. he said it would cost $755 to fix and i told him that sadly, i didnt have the money...
